Thanks Santacruz.  The time to watch the waters is here.  I hope everyone is ready or close to finishing up preps for the season.

Sounds interesting, thats not the first time I'v heard that the Atlantic is going to be an active year, I wonder if that will have any effects on the Pacific, maybe it will be a less active year here.

(even though we have already had a typhoon and a few invest..)

 Yes that seems to be the balance factor. However I am hoping it is all an overblown exaggeration. Hopefully some of the newer features available to the weather service can keep us alerted. I really  do not want to board up etc.  Almost gopt the boat ready for some serious fuel consumption. Got some $2.59 regular in my car. Now need to get the gas cans out! 

Yes I am in DENIAL!  Long term forecasts do not impress me.

How is gas going out there? 2.59 now? HMMM don't seem like its changed that much, I figured since the oil spill there would be some reason for the price to go up.
